From I-35: take the 21st Avenue East exit, go up the hill on 21st Avenue East to Woodland Avenue. Turn right on Woodland and proceed to Mt. Royal Shopping Center, located just before the St. Marie St. intersection. Turn right into the Shopping Center and drive up the short hill to the other side of the building. The entrance to the Library and other Mt. Royal businesses is in the middle of the building.

Library materials can be returned either inside the library or in the bookdrop during open hours. Use the bookdrop when the Library is closed.

The bookdrop is built into the southwest wall of the Library, by Bulldog Pizza. It can be reached by the sidewalk on the side of the building or by parking in the drop-off parking zone and climbing the stairs to the bookdrop level.

The Mt. Royal Branch Library opened in 1998 following the closing of two old, small buildings: Woodland Branch Library and Lester Park Branch Library.
