Internet Computers

All Library Internet computers use automated sign-up software.

Sign up to use a computer by entering your library card number at the login screen on any open computer. If there are no open computers, you may make a reservation at the Reservation Station inside the Computer Lab or using one of the catalog computers.

Registered library cards are eligible for 2 computer sessions per day. The length of each session is determined by your computer selection. A regular session in the Computer Lab is for one hour; sessions at the branch libraries and in Youth Services are for a half hour. Time may be extended if there are open computers or shortened if the computer you're using has been reserved by someone else.

Log off the computer by selecting the End Session button on the Personal Session Manager box.
If you do not have your library card with you, you may request a 15-minute Visitor Pass. Lookup cards are no longer provided.

Computers in Youth Services are restricted for use by people aged 18 and under or for parents accompanying children in Youth Services. Parents will need to get a Visitor Pass from the Youth Services desk and must deposit money into the temporary Visitor Pass account in order to print.

Visitors with a photo ID may get a Visitor Pass for a single one-hour session in the Lab or at the branch libraries.

Visitors without a photo ID may get a 15-minute Visitor Pass in the Lab or at the branch libraries.

Due to the changing nature of computer services, policies are subject to change without notice, at the Library's discretion.
